Here we will examine and learn the Real truth about the so-called
"Residents Groups"

IRA/Sinn Fein intimidate Protestants from Cluan Place in Belfast

IRA/Sinn Fein intimidate Protestants from Cluan Place in Belfast by doing so they know if they gain access to Cluan Place and populate it with their own people. Then the IRA/Sinn Fein will set up a so call residents group to oppose the Orange Parade which passes the end of the street in the future.

IRA/Sinn Fein proclaim they are peace makers to the outside world while at the same time they embark on a clinical system of intimidation and genocide against the Protestants of Cluan Place in Belfast.

Why would they do this you ask?

The answer is very simple - The IRA/Sinn Fein have the most to gain from these sustained attacks if all Cluan Place Protestant residents move out. The cul-de-sac backs on to the route of a major Protestant Orange march, and control of the street would give them a say in having it diverted. This is how the IRA Sinn Fein see the future as they steadily push and intimidate Protestants from their homes. This is ethnic cleansing if not genocide on a small scale which is happening across the whole of Northern Ireland. West of the Bann was not always green but though intimidation and murder it has become green. But the British Government will not admit this as they think by appeasement they can keep Sinn Fein the political wing of the IRA on the peace train.

Read the news article below of what happened David Trimble the First Minister of Stormont when he went to see for himself the intolerable life the Protestants of Claun Place have living beside the peace wall. As the IRA/Sinn Fein orchestrate attack after attack nightly to drive the Protestants out of Claun Place.

Missiles fly as Trimble visits street under siege

Missiles hurled by republicans narrowly missed David Trimble yesterday as Northern Ireland's First Minister experienced at first hand the intimidation that has driven most families from a Protestant enclave in east Belfast. Mr Trimble was visiting Cluan Place, a cul-de-sac besieged by republicans from a nearby Roman Catholic estate who shower it with bricks and rocks every day. The tactics have forced out 20 of the 25 Protestant families who lived there. Within 30 minutes of Mr Trimble's arrival, a rock came sailing over the "peace wall" separating the two communities, followed 10 minutes later by a golf ball. The residents say they are victims of IRA-orchestrated attacks aimed at provoking a violent response in the Short Strand area. Last week it worked. Rioting loyalists engaged in some of the worst clashes with police this year. The republicans say loyalists are provoking the attacks, but the former stand to gain most if all Cluan Place residents move out. The cul-de-sac backs on to the route of a major Protestant Orange march, and control of the street would give them a say in having it diverted. The night before Mr Trimble's trip, two women were wounded by an acid bomb. In all, at least 13 residents have been injured. Tony Irwin, 35, whose house has been fired-bombed, said: "All the people in this street would have stayed if the police had come down hard on the republicans early on, but all they're interested in is appeasing them to keep this so-called peace process going." Mr Trimble entered burnt-out homes and crunched on broken glass underfoot during his hour-long visit. He said: "What we've seen here is absolutely appalling. There have been retaliation attacks on police from this side and that is quite wrong. But I want to talk to the Acting Chief Constable to ask why, after so long, police have not got on top of this." He called on senior leaders of Sinn Fein, the political allies of the IRA, to "stand up and tell the truth about what is going on because these are orchestrated attacks by mainstream republicans". 29/08/2002 Belfast Telegraph
